Using AMAYA
The AMAYA Arsenal: from a description to practice guidance
Read what the material concerns first. Then look at the guidance available to you and the conditions for continuing. A public description does not replace the full instructions.
- Description
- Clear sequence
- Available next step
The Path requires ACADEMY access. If you do not have access, the app shows the access options. A Force’s name does not yet tell you what a practice involves. Before choosing, consider two questions: what is this material about, and which actions does it describe?
Begin with the description
If the description uses the tradition’s language, start by understanding its meaning. An image of a Force should not become a promise of health, income or a particular outcome.
Find a material in the Arsenal
On the Path, find the Arsenal section. For an introduction, choose Vaiṣṇavī's practice: Harmonizing Chaos and Calm.
Open AMAYA PathOpen Details
Select Details for the material you chose. Read the description in the card that opens.
Go to the practice page
Select Open the practice in the card. On the practice page, read its title, theme and public text in full.
What to check before continuing
Theme
Do you understand what the material concerns and why you want to explore it?
Guidance
Does the available text explain the sequence of actions? A public introduction and the full practice may cover different amounts. The full guide is not yet available in English. The app shows that its translation is being prepared.
Access
Read the conditions before continuing. An image or title does not establish that a practice is open to you.
If the next action is unclear
Return to the description and formulate one question about its meaning or sequence. Avoid filling gaps in guidance with guesses.
If the full guidance requires separate access, the public description lets you explore its theme first. Restricted formulas and transmission materials have their own conditions and sequence of study.
